Dear Family,
Can you believe next week is General Conference already?! I don´t think I´ve ever been so giddy about anything! Ah so happy! We have a big countdown in our room. People say it´s like Christmas, but it´s better than Christmas :)
This week we FINALLY moved houses. It has been quite an adventure. The first day we were back to sleeping on the floor and cold showers. Makes me so grateful to live in a day, age and country where we have hot showers and beds. We´re so spoiled. And then on day 2 the water just stopped working all together, so it made for some adventures, but it definitely lets us know we´re missionaries ;) The members have been good to help us out.
Since Elder Gaverret visited last week we´ve started using the Book of Mormon a lot more and oh how I LOVE the Book of Mormon! It is the greatest book in the world! I know the prophets and everyone always say that, but it´s true. The Spirit is instantly so much stronger! I’m reading about the Sons of Mosiah right now, and those chapters suddenly become so much more powerful and real as a missionary, and it´s amazing how even though it was more than two thousand years ago, it still is so applicable! No I don´t use swords and I haven´t been thrown in jail yet, but I think I can definitely understand so much more what they went thru. I Wish I could share some of my notes with you because I loved learning about them, but time is super short this week because the computer didn´t work the first half hour, but read the Book of Mormon it is SO powerful! I love you all so much! Thank you for your prayers and your support. They are felt thousands of miles away!
